Pastoral Ministries
- Small Group Leaders are needed to help disciple and pastor the people through small groups that meet for one hour at least twice a month in different homes.
- Visitation/Outreach Ministers are individuals who visit church members in nursing homes and those who are unable to attend church events.
- Follow-up Minister helps the pastor follow up on individuals who have not been attending church events for some time.
- Liturgists assist in the worship services by leading the affirmation/statement of faith and by reading the Scripture. Occasionally the liturgist will assist in serving communion.
Outreach Ministry
The Outreach Ministry, under the leadership of Gayle
Foster, focuses on contacting homebound church members
and nursing home residents. The Outreach Team writes
cards, makes phone calls, and assists with maintaining
contact with those in our church family who are unable to
attend worship services. The team is considering
appropriate ways of contacting members of the
congregation who have ceased attending worship services.
If you may feel you are not ready to make a personal visit,
there are other ways you can be involved in this ministry. Those interested in serving in this
vital ministry or wanting more information may contact Gayle.
